PNP IMMIGRATION

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a group of Canadian immigration programs run by the Federal Government in collaboration with individual provinces, each with its own set of standards and streams (i.e., target groups). The goal of those programs is to assist people who meet the following requirements; Individuals who: have the skills, education, and work experience needed to contribute to a province or territory's economy and would like to stay in that province and become permanent residents of Canada want to reside in that province.

ALBERTA ADVANTAGE IMMIGRATION PROGRAM

 

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), formerly the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program, is an economic immigration program that nominates people for permanent residence in Alberta. Nominees must have skills to fill job shortages or be planning to buy or start a business in Alberta. They must also be able to provide for their families. The program is run by the governments of Alberta and Canada.

Temporary processing measures are now in place for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) for Ukrainian nationals who apply to the program.

  • Streams for Entrepreneurs
    The AAIP has 4 streams for entrepreneurs who plan to live in Alberta and buy or start a business in the province: 1. Rural Entrepreneur Stream Entrepreneurs who want to start a business or buy an existing business in a rural Alberta community can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). 2. Graduate Entrepreneur Stream International graduates of approved Alberta post-secondary institutions who want to start a business or buy an existing business can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). 3. Farm Stream Experienced farmers who plan to buy or start a farm in Alberta can apply for permanent residence. 4. Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream Foreign graduates from outside of Canada can apply for permanent residence.
  • Streams for Workers
    The AAIP has 3 streams for foreign workers who are living and working in Alberta, or plan to live and work here: 1. Alberta Opportunity Stream Qualified candidates who live and work in Alberta and have a job offer from an Alberta employer can apply for an AAIP nomination. Applicants need a positive LMIA and must meet other minimum eligibility criteria for residency and work permit type, occupation, language, and education. 2. Alberta Express Entry Stream Qualified candidates with an Express Entry profile may be invited by AAIP to apply for nomination for permanent residence. Tech workers can qualify for expedited processing under the Accelerated Tech Pathway. 3. Rural Renewal Stream Qualified candidates who have a job offer from an Alberta employer to work in a designated rural Alberta community can apply for an AAIP nomination.

ONTARIO IMMIGRANT NOMINEE PROGRAM

 

The OINP recognizes and nominates people for permanent residence who have the skills and experience the Ontario economy needs, and the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve applications for permanent residence.

  • Streams for Entrepreneurs
    The AAIP has 4 streams for entrepreneurs who plan to live in Alberta and buy or start a business in the province: 1. Rural Entrepreneur Stream Entrepreneurs who want to start a business or buy an existing business in a rural Alberta community can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). 2. Graduate Entrepreneur Stream International graduates of approved Alberta post-secondary institutions who want to start a business or buy an existing business can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). 3. Farm Stream Experienced farmers who plan to buy or start a farm in Alberta can apply for permanent residence. 4. Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream Foreign graduates from outside of Canada can apply for permanent residence.

NOVA SCOTIA NOMINEE PROGRAM (NSNP)

 

Nova Scotia is an Atlantic province in Canada. Nova Scotia is the second smallest province, with an area of 55,284 km2. The capital of the province is Halifax and its largest city is Sydney. Nova Scotia was created as a British colony in 1784 and became part of Canada in 1867. The province takes a "diversified approach" by inviting candidates who have skills in the following areas: agriculture; aquaculture; business; construction; digital media & technology; health care and related.

    The AAIP has 4 streams for entrepreneurs who plan to live in Alberta and buy or start a business in the province: 1. BRITISH COLUMBIA PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (BCPNP) 

 

The program enables the province to select and nominate foreign workers, international students, and entrepreneurs to help meet B.C.’s labor market needs, support government priorities, and help grow B.C.’s economy. If you are nominated, you and your family can apply to IRCC to become a permanent residents of Canada. The BC PNP Skills Immigration is divided into the following categories:

    Express Entry BC applicants can be nominated for the PNP, receiving priority processing of both their nomination application and future permanent residence status.

    If you want to immigrate to British Columbia as an entrepreneur, you have three options to choose from:

    BC PNP Tech provides B.C. tech employers with the continued ability to recruit and retain international talent in tech occupations when local skilled workers are unavailable. This program has supported more than 6,000 tech workers to be nominated for permanent residence since its launch in May 2017

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) offers three streams, with their respective pathways, through which you can immigrate to the province of Manitoba and become a permanent resident of Canada.

  • Streams for Entrepreneurs
    The AAIP has 4 streams for entrepreneurs who plan to live in Alberta and buy or start a business in the province: 1. Rural Entrepreneur Stream Entrepreneurs who want to start a business or buy an existing business in a rural Alberta community can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). 2. Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

 

Prince Edward Island is a Canadian province which it is located in the Atlantic region on the east coast of Canada. The population of Prince Edward Island in 2014 was 142,907 with 44% identifying as Acadian and 32% as English. There are six municipalities on Prince Edward Island which are Charlottetown, Summerside, Stratford, West Prince, Georgetown, and Borden-Carleton. The capital of the province is Charlottetown which is located at the western end of Prince Edward Island. The name of the province was taken from Queen Charlotte, who had married King George III in 1761 and lastly named after Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn.
